In Episode 51 of The Energy Call we talked about the CISEA gas and electricity circulars regarding the opening of the portal during the supplementary session for the submission of declarations for the 2025 relief for gas and energy users.
We delved into some critical issues related respectively
– to the oversizing of the guarantees required by SGI for contributions during the thermal year that has started.
– to the lack of clarity regarding the management of the timing and Epsu related to the publication of the 2023 annual and 2019/2022 multi-year adjustment sessions by SNAM
– to the excessive and now anachronistic responsibility, both operational and legal, that shippers have towards SNAM on behalf of direct end customers.
We then talked about the additional fuel mix specifications issued by the GSE in view of the approaching deadlines for cancellations and Arera’s DCO 50-2025 that introduces the changes to the TIDE regarding procurement for the Frequency Continment Reserve and the new classification of UPs.
Finally, we commented on the increase in gas sales, linked to the intensification of talks between the US and Russia to reach a short-term peace, and the unexpected allocation of a small storage quota, presumably by mistake, given the still decidedly negative spreads.
