GAS & POWER: Confirmation has arrived from the Russian transport minister regarding the attack suffered yesterday by the ARCTIC METAGAZ methane tanker. The ship, part of the shadow fleet connected to the Arctic LNG 2 terminal, was struck by a drone, which, according to initial sources, was linked to the Ukrainian army, while it was in the Mediterranean off the coast of Malta.

OIL: The rise in crude oil markets continues this morning, reaching its highest level since August 2024. Attempts by the US administration to reassure the markets have had little impact, with operators focusing more on the reduction in Iraqi production, now roughly halved due to transport difficulties in the Gulf and the filling of storage facilities – a loss of around 1.5 million barrels per day.
