GAS & POWER: Amid high volatility, gas markets opened the week on the rise after US President Trump announced that he had rejected a deal attempt by Tehran –proposed seven days of truce with an immediate halt to both the conflict across the region and the ongoing naval blockades– and was instead preparing to resume the offensive after the elections by mid term. Further firefights have reportedly been reported in the last few hours.

ITALIA: This morning, Edison notified the market of QatarEnergy's extension of force majeure. Due to the ongoing conflict, the Qatari supplier will not be able to fulfill its contractual obligations until early December: another 6 non-deliveries are expected, for a total of 35 cargo ships and a volume exceeding 4 billion cubic meters.
