GAS & POWER: French liquefaction terminal Dunkirk LNG could face operational limitations in the coming days due to possible strike action, Fluxys said. The duration and impact of the event are currently difficult to define. The terminal regasified over 40 million cubic meters of day into the network at the start of January.

America's major liquefaction terminals saw a dramatic reduction in feedgas over the weekend, with the Sabine Pass, Corpus Christi, and Freeport sites particularly impacted. The freezing storm hitting the country has brought cash prices at Henry Hub close to 100 €/MWh, while this morning the front-month is up 20% again, at records since 2022. According to the latest available data, approximately 800,000 users are disconnected from the electricity grid.
