GAS & POWER: The gas markets reached their lowest levels since last April on August 15th, and then recovered in the immediately following days. The talks organized by Trump with the various counterparts have brought results that are still unclear, with the sole effect of delaying the deadline for reaching an agreement to the end of the month, and overshadowing possible sanctions against Moscow. On the contrary, as reported by Kpler, in the days following the conversation with President Putin, four LNG carriers connected to the Arctic LNG 2 terminal changed their route to Asian ports. The liquefaction terminal, heavily sanctioned in recent months by Western states, had seen its operations greatly reduced, with the only cargoes delivered remaining within the Russian border.
