Episode n.57 of 16/04/2025 – The Energy Call

In Episode 57 of The Energy Call, we talked about single buyer publications regarding the third-party metering data process resulting from Resolution 509 2024 and the gas settlement documentation mainly for reasons of errata corrige. We talked about Resolution 156 R/COM supplementing Resolution 192 of 2024 on pre-contractual and contractual regulation for the benefit of end customers of electricity and gas as per the code of business conduct on transparency and comparability of offers in retail markets. We then took stock of the situation of the storage auctions in light of the results obtained so far, also following the communication from stogit regarding the achievement of 90% of the allocated capacity and therefore the end of the application of the storage premium on the next auctions. We then clarified the issue of the payment of excise duties on the negative energy input of auxiliary storage plants and spoke about the update of the TIV by Arera regarding forward procurement for the single buyer. Finally, we analysed the energy markets, which saw an increase in volatility, not so much as a result of fundamentals, which did not change much, but due to political-economic issues of international tariff management.
