Episode n.127 of 29/09/2026 – The Energy Call

In episode 127 of The Energy Call we talked about, among others, the following topics: - Communication by SNAM regarding the issuance of accounting documents relating to SK's adjustment of November-December 25 and January-February 26 and publication by the Customs and Monopolies Agency of the response to the request for deferral of deadlines and suspension of penalties for uploading half-yearly gas and electricity declarations. - Publication by ARERA of resolution 332 on the definition of the maximum price of the second max auction for 2029. Finally, on the gas markets there has been a variation between 70 and 75 euros megawatt hours in the last week, mainly driven by the more or less credible prospects of a diplomatic rapprochement between the United States and Iran. On the fundamentals front, maintenance of Norwegian production is nearing its end, demand from Asian markets has proven solid, and Qatar Energy's renewal of its force majeure until early December in Europe and presumably the first half of November in Asia will further compete between the two markets. We then start at the beginning of the winter season with the thermal that will be a fundamental driver of the coming months.
