GAS & POWER: Hezbollah's rejection of the truce agreement between Israel and Lebanon has led to an immediate resumption of fighting in the south of the country of cedars, with oil and gas prices once again proving buoyant. American company Delfin Midstream yesterday announced the final green light for the Delfin FLNG 1 project, the first floating liquefaction plant in the United States and the largest FLNG project in the world by capacity, with 4.4 million tons annually located off the coast of Louisiana. Contracted volumes of 4.35 million tons per year with international players such as Vitol, Centrica, Gunvor and Macquarie. The first production is expected in 2030. Delfin aims to make final investment decisions for Trains 2 and 3 —each with an additional 4.4 million tonnes— over the next year.
