GAS & POWER: Following the incidents that impacted Fos terminals in the latter part of last year, operator Natran has reported new problems to the network connecting the Montoir plant. Until next April 1°, the plant located on the coast of Brittany will have a regasification capacity communicated day by day, and limited to just over 20 million cubic meters. At peak demand during last January, the terminal had a network contribution of just under 40 million cubic meters.
Prices on Asian markets hit four-week lows, put under pressure by a combination of relatively mild weather forecasts for the short term and the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday in China. The movement of the LNG carrier SEAPEAK GLASGOW, which departed from the Chinese port of Ningbo bound for Singapore but is now headed for Europe, fits into this context. This would be the first Chinese reload to the Old Continent since 2022.
