GAS & POWER: According to Bloomberg, QatarEnergy is delaying the start of its massive liquefied natural gas expansion project, pushing the start of new production lines in late 2026, against previous expectations for a start-up by the first half of the year. The slippage would be attributable to new delays in engineering and construction activities. Announced in 2018, and with work only starting in 2023, the North Field East project includes the construction of four liquefaction terminals, with a capacity of 32 mtpa.
