GAS & POWER: Turkish Energy Minister Bayraktar has relaunched the goal of transforming Turkey into a regional gas hub. The government is considering the construction of a new regasification terminal worth approximately 10 billion cubic meters per year in the region bordering Cyprus. Ankara currently has five operational regasification plants, with a total capacity exceeding 51 billion cubic meters, placing the country among Europe's leading LNG players, second only to Spain.
