GAS & POWER: The Kool Blizzard LNG carrier has sailed from the Darwin LNG terminal to the Japanese port of Sakai. This is the first shipment exported in over two years, after production at the site was suspended due to a lack of feed gas. Over the last few months, the plant has been connected to a new production well, which has enabled its revamping.

ITALY: ENI has announced the launch of the hull of the FLNG platform “Coral North”, marking an important step in the development of the offshore project in the Rovuma basin, Mozambique. With a liquefaction capacity of 3.6 Mtpa, the project will double Mozambique's total LNG production to around 7 Mtpa, consolidating the country's position as Africa's third largest LNG producer and exporter.
