GAS & POWER: After the stalemate that characterised most of May, the inventory of the main European storages returned to grow at a good pace, with a volume injected since the beginning of the campaign equal to 190 TWh, up 35% compared to the previous year, but still 2% lower than the average of the last six years. The situation in Germany continues to give cause for concern, where storage facilities are 43% full, compared to an EU average of more than 50%, and where the country's largest storage facility, Rehden, currently has less than 5% of storage capacity.

OIL: Crude oil prices slumped this morning after closing higher on Friday, buoyed by US employment data and hopes of positive talks between China and the US on the tariffs front in London today. Cooling the enthusiasm was the Chinese crude oil import data for May, at a four-month low.
