GAS & POWER: Gas prices hit highs since the days after the Ras Laffan attack, surpassing the psychological threshold of 60 €/MWh this morning. American raids in the Gulf continued over the weekend –the ninth consecutive day–, and Tehran's response was swift, with several commercial vessels hit while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz, one of them on fire off the coast of Oman. European storage remains under pressure, recording yet another sign of slowing reserve accumulation over the past weekend, with the gap over the past year now reaching 125 TWh. Similarly regasification also offers few positive signs, with Asian markets confirming in premium on Europe up to and including August – greater uncertainty on the first half of September.
