GAS & POWER: Gas prices remain at pre-memorandum levels, with the memorandum having been effectively declared worthless yesterday by US President Trump. Further US strikes on Iranian sites took place overnight, whilst according to some media reports, Qatar is calling on the parties to return to the negotiating table as soon as possible.
The Russia-Ukraine conflict has returned to the forefront of discussions at the two-day NATO meeting in Ankara. Whilst Gazprom reported fresh drone attacks on infrastructure linked to TurkStream – the only gas pipeline still in operation transporting Russian gas to the continent – the United States has taken a positive stance towards Kyiv and reiterated its commitment to ending the ongoing war.
