Episode n.112 of 03/06/2026 – The Energy Call

In episode 112 of The Energy Call we talked among others, about the following topics:

- SNAM communications on the recalculations of the final budgets for October-November 25 and January 26 and on the organization of a new thematic table on adjustment sessions.

- Publication by ARERA of Resolution 191 on the approval of charges for natural gas transport services for 2027 and Resolution 188 on the reform of pre-contractual and contractual regulations in the electricity and natural gas sectors.

- Commentary on the TERNA consultation document on the amendment of Annex A61 of the network code relating to the calculation of BRP guarantees.

On the market side, yet another U.S.-Iran reversal over the announcement of an agreement to extend the ceasefire and immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz has led gas prices at the TTF to retest the 50-euro megawatt-hour threshold in recent market sessions, a value already reached and exceeded in PSV Spot and Front Curva prices. On the supply front from the North Seas, new interventions planned by Gasco are planned which will limit export capacity compared to operators' expectations. In Italy, lower regasification prospects, a decline in incoming flows from North Africa, and scheduled maintenance work on the gas pipeline connecting Austria are pushing the TTF differential to its highest level in over a month.
