17/02/2026 – Corpus Christi LNG expansion project: fifth liquefaction train imminent – Read more news

GAS & POWER: The American company Cheniere has obtained permits to introduce feedgas into the fifth liquefaction train as part of the expansion phase of the Corpus Christi terminal currently underway. The first production of liquefied gas is therefore expected by the end of the month. At full capacity, expected by the end of the year with the commissioning of two more liquefaction trains, the plant will have a capacity exceeding 25 mtpa.

ITALIA: Persistent bad weather in the Tyrrhenian Sea area will keep LNG carriers away from the Livorno terminal at least until Sunday, according to the latest messages published by the operator. The situation in the Adriatic is improving, however, where two ships are expected to arrive bound for the Cavarzere and Ravenna terminals.
