GAS & POWER: The high pressure structure responsible for the cold weather that has hit northern Europe in recent weeks is weakening. Over the next few days, the weather will tend to be mild everywhere’, while a new cold episode will be confirmed over the weekend. The extent of the phenomenon should, however, be more subdued in intensity and duration than in the scenarios described last Friday.

ENI has officially announced the start of commercial production of the second phase of the Congo LNG project. With the integration of the second floating liquefaction unit FLNG NGUYA concluded, the overall capacity of the project now exceeds 4 billion cubic metres per year. The launch of this second phase came in record time compared to industry averages, just over two years after the start-up of the first unit began.
