Episode n.93 of 20/01/2026 – The Energy Call
In Episode 93 of The Energy Call, we discussed the Revenue Agency's publication of admissions on December 31, 2025, to the so-called collaborative compliance introduced in Italy in 2015, established with the aim of promoting a new model of transparent and preventive cooperation between tax authorities and taxpayers.
We discussed the single buyer's communication on the postponement of the publication timelines for the pre- and fin flows of the 2026 multi-year adjustment session and the GME's confirmation of the start of the Tide consolidation phase as of February 1 and the publication of the effective times for the various market platforms of the new changes made by the Tide.
We then talked about the surge in gas markets in the last week of trading with volatility not observed since the energy crisis and finally we talked about gas prices that grew by 30% in the space of 5 days of trading with reasons related to the forecast of cold weather, the concerns of the State of European storage that fell below 50% of filling and from repositioning by investment funds.
