GAS & POWER: Pressure remains on gas storage, with deliveries at record levels in the week just ended. Nearly 5 billion cubic meters have been withdrawn since January 5, with the filling percentage now falling below the 55% threshold. With nearly three full months of winter season still to go, reserves could close their campaign at its lowest levels in a decade.

Storm Goretti hit Britain and France hard with strong winds, snow and extreme conditions, causing widespread blackouts for hundreds of thousands of customers. Also involved is the Flamanville nuclear power plant, where reactors 1 and 3 will remain offline at least until next February 1°, with approximately 3 GW of production capacity affected.
