GAS & POWER: As the United States consolidates its role as the world's leading LNG exporter month after month, fears of possible polar vortex outbreaks and the growth in volumes destined for liquefaction plants have pushed domestic prices to their highest since December 2022, above the $5/mnBTU threshold

ITALIA: Eni has announced the start –ahead of schedule– of Phase 2 of the Congo LNG project. The first shipment of LNG destined for export is expected in early 2026. The new FLNG Nguya unit will bring the overall capacity of the project to 3 mtpa, from the current 0.5 mtpa, significantly increasing the export capacity of the African country.
