GAS & POWER: Ukrainian DTEK, through its trading division D.TRADING, received the first cargo of liquefied natural gas from the United States at the LNG terminal in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Once regasified the volumes will be transported to Ukraine, Poland and other Eastern European markets. DTEK, which estimates Kiev will need around 4 billion cubic meters of gas this winter, also intends to use the southern corridor through Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova to diversify supplies in the region.
