GAS & POWER: German state operator Deutsche Energy Terminal has announced the extension of maintenance work at the Brunsbuettel terminal, with the FSRU Hoegh Gannet still in the shipyard for work related to reducing emissions and environmental pollution. The work began last September, with the Mukran LNG terminal, operated by Deutsche Regas, ready to temporarily compensate for the missing capacity. Meanwhile, the Wilhelmshaven 2 terminal, after undergoing maintenance between 11 and 25 October, will have to shut down again between 27 November and 5 December.

EQUITY: Risk appetite returns to financial markets after the US Senate officially approved the measures needed to release funds for the administration until 31 January. The House vote is now expected by the end of the week, with pressure on politicians mounting as the crisis in the air transport sector spreads in the run-up to the festive season.
