GAS & POWER: State-owned company Pakistan LNG has reached an agreement with ENI to stop liquefied gas supplies scheduled over the next two years. The contract provided for the delivery of one load per month, for a total of affected deliveries exceeding 1.5 billion cubic meters. According to various sources, the government is also conducting similar negotiations with QatarEnergy, after a strong penetration of renewables and an unexpected reduction in consumption in the last year led the system to be constantly in excess of supply.

LNG Canada, two weeks after the first flaring operations, announced the start of production of the second liquefaction train of the Kitimat plant, located in the British Columbia region.
