GAS & POWER: Cheniere announced that it has completed the construction of the third liquefaction train of the expansion project started in December last year. The plan involves the construction of seven liquefaction trains, for an additional liquefaction capacity of over 10 mtpa. Meanwhile, the first production from the fourth liquefaction train is also expected by the end of the year.
OIL: After the sanctions arrived from the White House, Lukoil announced that it was in advanced negotiations with Gunvor for the sale of European assets. Similar moves are expected from Rosneft, while the German government has obtained reassurances on refineries present in the country but placed under Berlin's receivership after the outbreak of the crisis in 2022.
