Episode n.78 of 23/09/2025 – The Energy Call
In Episode 78 of The Energy Call, we discussed the critical issue that could be introduced by an amendment to the upcoming decree law dedicated to the energy sector regarding the proposal to eliminate the PSV-TTF spread, which stems from understandable pressure from Italian industries to be able to purchase gas on the Italian PSV market at a competitive cost compared to that available on the TTF.
We then mentioned Terna's webinar to present the new Gaudì portal and new features in line with the TIDE consolidation phase, and that Terna has announced that, starting on 30 September with a flow date of 1 October, together with Swissgrid, they will introduce the possibility of nominating on an hourly basis.
Finally, we analysed the gas markets, which continue to lack a clear direction, focusing on the one hand on the evolution of the maintenance plan currently underway in Norwegian production fields and on the other on the geopolitical situation in which American pressure on the 27, to reduce energy dependence on Moscow has resulted in the presentation of the 19th package of EU sanctions with a ban on purchases of Russian LNG from January 2027.
