Episode n.74 of 26/08/2025 – The Energy Call
In Episode 74 of The Energy Call we elaborated on ARERA resolution 386 on measures to rationalize the fees for offers of electric gas for domestic customers.
We recalled the specific deadlines on the single buyer's side regarding the preparatory activities for the start of the gas thermal year 2025-2026, we talked about resolution 366 with which ARERA closes the documentation for the first Max Auction session on 30 September and defines the maximum price of the Auction and we commented on resolution 399 and the new integrated text on the quality of sales in force from January 1, 2026.
Finally, we analyzed the gas markets where operators await the next start of the second phase of summer maintenance at the production fields of the North Sea, albeit with a lower expected impact than last year, while on the weather side it seems that the last significant European summer heat wave and 75% filling was achieved on storage which should comfortably allow reaching 80% by the end of September.
