Episode n.65 of 10/06/2025 – The Energy Call

In Episode 65 of The Energy Call, we commented on the slides of Arera's presentation on DCO 205 regarding the revision of the regulation on the quality of customer care services for electricity and gas sales companies. We recalled the upcoming disruptions of IT services planned on SNAM's systems and the related impacted processes, as well as the announcement that appeared on the ETS2 website regarding the one-off tariff for the year 2024 charged to regulated entities that applied for authorisation during 2024 and to those that applied late in 2025. We spoke about the publication by the IIS of the functionalities and specifications of the transmission and measurement process and partial residual energy calculation, ERP, the publication of Arera Resolution 227 introducing changes to the TIDE regarding the frequency containment reserve and changes in accordance with the transitional FERIX. Finally, we talked about the return of volatility to the energy markets with a rebound in gas prices of 7%, sustained above all by the new intensification of maintenance activities at Norwegian breeding plants. Positive signals, on the other hand, came from storage, where European reserves exceeded the average threshold of 50 per cent, which is just below the average of the last 10 years.
