GAS & POWER: The announcement of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel anticipated in the evening yesterday directly by Trump and then respectively confirmed by Israel and Iran pushes down the markets for crude oil and gas, down about 10% in the first trades this morning. The ceasefire should then be followed by a peace agreement, however high the unpredictability given the latest developments
The LNG Canada terminal has officially started commercial liquefied gas production: the arrival of the first LNG carrier is scheduled for later this week. The terminal’s output will still be limited in the coming weeks because of some problems with the first liquefaction train, which is only 50% operational. At full capacity the terminal will have a liquefaction capacity of just under 15 mtpa, and will mainly serve the Asian market
