GAS & POWER: While Ukraine's gas imports rose again earlier this week, storage levels in the country remain at their lowest in more than a decade. According to several analysts, Kiev will need more than six billion cubic metres over the next few months to make up for the sharp drop in stocks that occurred last winter season
ITALIA: Edison announced the arrival in Italy of the first cargo of liquefied natural gas from the United States under the contract with Venture Global. The LNG carrier Elisa Aquila, which set sail from the Calcasieu Pass facility located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, arrived at the Piombino terminal at the beginning of the week with a cargo of approximately 165,000 cubic metres of liquefied gas. The long-term contract foresees the delivery of 14 cargoes per year, equivalent to about 1.4 billion cubic metres, for the next twenty years
