GAS & POWER: Gazprom announced the end of planned preventive maintenance work on the Power of Siberia pipeline, conducted for the first time without interrupting gas supplies. Flows to China were quickly restored to contracted maximum levels upon completion of the operations
OIL: Crude oil prices in free fall yesterday, with losses of more than 6%: the fear of a possible economic recession on a global scale triggered by American duties was compounded by the decision of the OPEC+ group to proceed with its measures to ease production cuts also next May, with an expected increase of about 400 thousand barrels/day (about 135 thousand barrels/day in April, however more than offset by the full return from over-production by some member countries)
