Sempra Infrastructure's Energía Costa Azul terminal —Mexico's first major LNG export facility, with a capacity of 3.3 million tons annually— has significantly accelerated commissioning activities in recent weeks, leading to the export of the first freighter. The LNG carrier PACIFIC SUCCESS set sail from the terminal on July 8th and is headed for Asia-Pacific. At full capacity the plant should be able to handle one cargo per week.
