GAS & POWER: The trend of a slowdown in injections into European storage facilities compared with last year continues, with the shortfall rising to 110 TWh over the past week. In Germany, SEFE has once again failed to allocate storage space at the Rehden site – the volume currently allocated is just over 10 per cent – and has scheduled a new auction for 7 July.

OIL: According to API data, US crude oil stocks are reported to have fallen by just under one million barrels in the week ending Friday 26 June. The release of government figures is eagerly awaited, particularly following the record lows reached by reserves in recent weeks.
