GAS & POWER: A principle of agreement was reached overnight between the United States and Iran to end the more than one hundred days of war: the formal signing of the memorandum, on which only a few details are currently known, is expected in Switzerland on Friday. According to rumors, Tehran has thirty days to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while a negotiation phase of about two months is underway to resolve the thorniest nuclear issue. In the absence of an agreement, the resumption of the conflict has already been mooted. Gas prices still remain well above pre-conflict levels, and still far from last April's lows, with a TTF front-month this morning in area 44 €/MWh.

Australia's Fair Work Commission has rejected INPEX's request to suspend strikes at the Ichthys LNG terminal, confirming the continuation of industrial action until June 23. The company has already announced the activation of countermeasures to mitigate the impact of the strikes, however, according to several analysts, at least four deliveries are at risk. The trade union side, on the other hand, said it was ready to extend the measures further, until an agreement was reached that was deemed satisfactory and in line with the reference standards.
