GAS & POWER: The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has entered its 100th day with a dangerous new escalation, which saw Tehran launch missiles at Israel in response to recent attacks on southern Lebanon. Immediate upward reaction in crude oil prices and especially once again gas, which this morning again exceeded the psychological threshold of 50 €/MWh on the closest part of the curve also at the TTF hub
ITALIA: Resolution 197/2026 has been published, regulating the sales methods for gas storage accumulated by SNAM and GSE as part of the service of last resort in 2022. Management will take place through bundled auctions – combined gas supply and delivery capacity during the winter season – on the MGAS platform, MGS sector, on a weekly basis. Provision is made for reserve prices.
