GAS & POWER: The LNG carrier MUBARAZ has reportedly crossed the Strait of Hormuz in recent days and headed towards the Indian coast, where it is currently located, with its final destination being the Chinese port of Tianjin. Previous transponder data showed the convoy inside the Gulf as of March 30, only to be blacked out until yesterday. The ship appears to be controlled by ADNOC, the emirate's incumbent, and loaded shortly before the start of the conflict.

Chevron announced the full resumption of operations at the Wheatstone terminal, located in western Australia. Production at the plant had been temporarily taken offline between late March and early April due to the passage of Hurricane Narelle, only to find its capacity approximately halved –4 million tons per year– due to the damage sustained.
