GAS & POWER: Temperatures are already dropping in northern Europe compared to last week, and relatively cool air masses will also descend on central and southern areas in the coming days. Consumption is expected to return to typical seasonal levels. Long-term models now point to cooler-than-average conditions in the first half of April.

OIL: Crude oil prices reached $107/bbl this morning, with buying driven by the weekend attacks by the U.S. military on Kharg Island, Iran's main crude export site. Although only military targets were hit, the White House's threat to extend the strikes to the site's energy infrastructure poses a new risk of escalation in the conflict, the end of which appears increasingly difficult to pinpoint.
