GAS & POWER: While Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov once again opened a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to negotiate the conditions of a possible truce in Ukraine, Moscow launched yet another attack on Kiev's energy infrastructure. On Friday, the signing of a Memorandum was announced between the incumbent Naftogaz and the companies DEPA Commercial and AKTOR Group for the supply of American LNG to Kiev via Greece. More details about the deal will be released at a later date.

Less than two weeks after the completion of the third liquefaction train, liquefied gas production has arrived from the fourth of seven blocks planned by the Corpus Christi US terminal expansion project. The three remaining liquefaction trains are expected to come into operation over the next year. At full capacity the plant will be able to exceed a technical capacity of 25 mtpa.
