GAS & POWER: The first real summer heat wave hit Europe this morning, with highs well over 30°C expected in the Mediterranean area from today, with the effect only fading by the end of the weekend. The high temperatures will impact the capacity of France's nuclear park, with restrictions on the Golfech, Bugey and Saint-Alban plants, amounting to more than 6 GW of affected capacity, in ten days' time.
