In episode 126 of The Energy Call we talked about, among others, the following topics: - Communications from SNAM regarding the issuance of accounting documents relating to the December 25, January and February 26 turnout adjustment and the publication of the update of percentage values for the definition of the standard drawdown profiles for the thermal year 26-27. - OI-ERT regulation, ministerial decree of the Ministry of Economic Development of 15 April 26 and GSE guidelines, which clarified the scope of the obliged entities and the mechanism for fulfilling certified thermal GEOs through cancellation. The price hike continues unabated on the gas markets, reaching highs of 83 euros megawatt hours in the last week since January 23rd. On the gas market front, there has been high volatility in recent market sessions with prices in high prices of 7% at the start of the week or 6 euros megawatt hours on the front month, after the United States opened a meeting with the Iranian delegation on the sidelines of the United Nations Assembly. Market participants then recorded lower-than-expected volume of LTO auctions on Q1 27, published by German market area manager ADER, a factor that took away the prospect of demand and further loaded bearish sentiment. Finally, on the fundamentals front, we are closely monitoring the progress of ongoing maintenance at Norwegian production facilities, with an impact expected to be significantly reduced as early as next week, but with some major interventions potentially subject to extension.
