GAS & POWER: The strike in the French energy sector removed approximately 6 GW of electricity capacity —mostly nuclear, with reductions at seven reactors, as well as a few hundred MW of gas and hydroelectric power— overnight and is expected to continue throughout today, with the risk of further outages and an increase in the expected impact on generation. Regasification terminals were also affected, with the Dunkirk plant seeing its appointment reduced to just under 4 GWh/day today compared to around 500 GWh/day recorded over the last ten days.

OIL: Saudi Arabia has not yet provided precise guidance on the repair timeline for the damage it suffered over the weekend to the East-West pipeline, while the Houthis have attacked the country again, hitting a military base and taking the tense situation to a new level.
